As an energy investor, AGE Energy has started its operations with the establishment of FETAŞ Fethiye Energy and Trading Inc. under AGE Construction and Trading Inc. AGE Energy commissioned 16.50 MW Fethiye HEPP, one of the first hydroelectric power plants which is constructed with the BOT model, in 1999.
With the issue of the Electricity Market Law (No: 4628), private sector has been encouraged for new investments in energy sector. In this regard, our group speeded up its operations about production of electricity and commissioned 21 MW Sarmaşık I HEPP and 22 MW Sarmaşık II HEPP at Trabzon in November 2008. In November 2009, our total capacity was increased up to 90 MW after the commission of 30 MW Pınar HEPP at Adıyaman province.
Today our total energy capacity has reached to 283 MW with our AGE Denizli Natural Gas Combined-Cycle Power Plant in Denizli.
With a holistic approach, besides energy production investments AGE ENERJİ is currently dealing with energy trading, energy contracting works and electricity supply services to eligible consumers with the conscious of sustainable development and innovation.
